Job Description

Commissioning Specialist / Assistant (Laboratory) 

Candidate should be B. Sc or B. Tech / Diploma with more than 10 to 20 Years Experience in Commissioning Laboratory

Commissioning Specialist (Laboratory) 

a) Assist the construction supervisor in the installation of laboratory rooms, benches and all analytical equipments.
b) To organize and manage the operations in field of the assigned team from the Sub Contractor by controlling their job and the implementation of Plant Safety procedures in case of emergency.
c) Suggest to the Commissioning Manager the needs for mobilization of Vendors specialists. Supervise the works of vendors specialists and ensure their efficient utilization.
d) To field check the DAC and prepare relevant Commissioning punch list, following the CME instructions.
e) Perform the checks on laboratory equipment and submit certificates to certification engineer.
f) During Cold Run, Start-up and Performance Test assist the Client/Licensor in ensuring the quality control of Raw Materials and plant production in accordance with the analytical methods and plan stated in the operation manual.
g) To coordinate the vendors specialist training to the client laboratory personnel.
h) To keep record of analytical results on appropriate forms, to be signed off and delivered to the commissioning manager during Cold Run, Start-up and Performance Test.
i) To check the availability of laboratory reagents and carrier gas and asking for the purchasing in case of need.

Commissioning Assistant (Laboratory) 

a) To carry out all activities according to schedule and instructions given by the Commissioning Laboratory Specialist and with the labor provided by the Subcontractor Client.
b) To keep records of all activities performed in the log book, Prepare the forms for all the tests to be performed and ensure submission of the certificates duly signed by involved parties for final hand over to the certification engineer (QA/QC).
c) During Cold Run, Start-up and Performance Test assist the Client/Licensor in ensuring the application of analytical program and the execution on shift of all the analysis of final products, intermediate products and Raw materials.
d) To take care about the good functioning of laboratory equipments and the calibration of the same.
e) To assure the right application of analytical methods and samples procedures and moreover of Laboratory Safety Rules.
f) To give instructions and assistance to the clients personnel who is working in the Laboratory and make training when requested.
g) To keep record of analytical results on dedicated forms and transmit the same to the Commissioning/Operation Supervisor in Control Room.
